Chitwan Jungle Safari packages offer a wilderness of a rich ecosystem that includes mammals, birds, reptiles and water animals of several kinds. The highlights of this park are the 500 Asian one-horned rhinoceros and some hundred nocturnal Royal Bengal tigers that live in the dense forests of the park. You will discover a lost world of towering trees and twisting vines, of pre-historic rhino and lumbering elephants, crocodile, python and deer; brilliantly colored birds and if you are fortunate – the superb Royal Bengal Tiger. Sharing home with these are other animals like rhesus monkey, grey langur, deer, leopards, and wild cats, etc. Another most important factor adding to the Chitwan experience is the colorful Tharu Culture, their way of living, culture, and tradition and heart touching Tharu Dance. Safety and Security:
We do not compromise on the safety and security of our guests. We highly prioritize safety and security measures during the trek. We have to understand that there are certain risks while traveling at a higher altitude which you should consider before booking. Our trip operators constantly monitor their areas of operation and trekking trail and they would cancel or re-route a trip if they feel any destination is unsafe to travel.
For the good of us all that live on this planet, the protection and conservation of the environment is the most important thing. When traveling and trekking in, you will at times be entering environmentally sensitive areas. At Pathfinder Expeditions we put environmental issues first, all of our treks and tours are arranged to give minimum impact to the environment. We encourage our guests to carry out the litter and not use plastic water bottles. We also don’t use wood fires at our campsites and also try not to use tea houses which do so, we prefer to stay in places that use gas and solar power. It’s the small things that we all do that can help to preserve the environment for future generations of trekkers.
